Histology Sites
A comprehensive digital histology website with concise tutorials containing hundreds of high-quality histological images, a textbook and quizzes, covering the entire human histology in a clear manner. It is highly useful for students to learn the bulk of the histology knowledge for medical school. It is created by the Virginia Commonwealth University.
Presently the only well web-accessible histology resource of this coverage and quality that is completely licensed under an Creative Commons license (CC BY NC SA), to the knowledge of AnatomyTOOL.

Teaching site that contains a collection of hundreds of high-quality virtual histological sections, covering the entire human histology. These are open accessible and licensed under Creative Commons (CC BY NC SA). The list of slides is here. The one big disadvantage is that the web virtual slide viewer is Flash based, a technique being increasingly disabled in browsers, alternatively the slides can be downloaded and viewed in a locally installed Aperio slide viewer.
