Description:
This video is the second video in a series of four demonstrating the peritoneal development with a home-made model. This video shows how the rotation of the stomach forms the omental bursa. Also, it shows the duodenum becoming adhered to the back wall (becoming secondary retroperitoneal). Detaching this adherence is a common procedure in several abdominal surgical procedures.
