This file was used to create the image 'The umbilical folds and ligaments - English labels'. The image gives a view of the anterior abdominal wall as seen from the inside when looking anteriorly. It shows the three umbilical folds that are formed in the parietal peritoneum of the anterior wall. Also the falciform ligament is shown. The base image is 'The umbilical folds, no labels'. This image originates from the e-learning lesson 'CASK inguinal area for students' at www.caskanatomy.info/inguinalarea created by the dept. of Anatomy and Embrylogy of Leiden University Medical Center, the Netherlands.
