Styloid apparatus. The styloid apparatus is defined as the muscles and ligaments attached to the styloid process. It consists of three muscles (styloglossus muscle, stylohoid muscle and stylophryngeus muscles) and two ligaments (stylohoid ligament and stylomandibular ligament). English labels.
