Description:
Prostate plexus and venous plexus, pudendal nerve and venous drainage penis. The pudendal nerve is shown, coming from the sacral plexus. The pelvic plexus (inferior hypogastric plexus), providing autonomic innervation to the rectum (removed), bladder (removed), prostate and penis. The prostate plexus is located on the lateral sides of the prostate, together with its venous plexus. The dorsal vein of the penis drains into the venous plexus of the prostate. The suspensory ligament, is continuous with Buck's fascia. No labels.
