Description:
This video explains the three ways that abdominal organs can be related to the peritoneum: intraperitoneal, retroperitoneal and secondary retroperitoneal. Each relation is first explained with a schematic graphic, followed by a demonstration in a dissection specimen. For each of the three relation types, characteristics are given.
