Description:
Alternating trajectory type of the splenic artery. There are four types of spenic artery trajectory: straight, tortuous, serpentine and alternating (a combination of the aforementioned). Labels: 1. splenic artery, 2. splenic vein, 3. posterior gastric artery, 4. branches of the splenic artery of the first order, 5. branches of the splenic artery of the second order, 6. superior pole artery, 7. two left gastroepiploic arteries, 8. spleen, 9. stomach (posterior surface), 10. pancreas.
