Description:
Humerus: posterior view. Posterior aspect of the right humerus. Proximally, the humerus articulates with the scapula and distally it articulates with the ulna and radius. The humerus has two necks: the anatomical and surgical neck. The anatomical neck collum anatomicum) corresponds to the epiphysial cartilage localization, while the surgical neck (collum chirurgicum) corresponds to the place where the humerus fractures most frequently occur.
