Description:
In this video the anatomy of the ligaments of the female pelvic organs are shown and explained. The ligaments are defined as fibrous connective tissue whose role in the pelvis is to suspend or attach the organs. However, some of the elements described actually correspond more to vascular connective or fibromuscular tissue. This video is in the "3D Anatomy Lyon" series from the Université Claude Bernard in Lyon, France.
