In this photo we get an anterior view of the supramesocolic organs lying above the transverse mesocolon (liver, galbladder, stomach, duodenal bulb and spleen) and its complex vasculature originating from the celiac trunk. This is a photo of a specimen embalmed with zinc chloride.
