Description:
Transverse trajectory of pancreas. In this article, the variations in the lie of the pancreas were classified into six types: oblique, sigmoid, transverse, horseshoe, L-shaped, and inverted V shape. This image shows a transverse shaped pancreas. Labels: 1. pancreas, 2. spleen, 3. splenic artery, 4. splenic vein.
