Description:
In this video the central tendon of the perineum is shown and explained. A good basis to start studying the muscles and anatomy of this regio. The central tendon of the perineum (or perineal body) is situated between the vagina and the anus. It is a subcutaneous fibromuscular complex toward which converge and interweave most of the perineal muscles and the puboperineal fascicle of the levator ani.
