Description:
Inferior hypogastric plexus and pudendal nerve. The pudendal nerve is shown, coming from the sacral plexus. The pelvic plexus (inferior hypogastric plexus), providing autonomic innervation to the rectum, bladder, prostate and penis. The fundiform ligament is the most anterior located ligament at the root of the penis. It continuous as Colles' fascia over the penis. The suspensory ligament, underneath the fundiform ligament, is continuous with Buck's fascia. No labels.
