Description:
The NIH 3D Print Exchange is a platform provided by the National Institutes of Health offering open 3D models related to biomedical science. This link refers to the heart collection on the platform. It has many models of the heart with a special interest on congenital heart diseases. The models have been created directly from patient MRI data. The models are offered under a Creative Commons license or are released to the Public Domain. The models are offered in common open 3D formats (STL, VRML, X3D and Blender), from which they can be printed or included in a viewer application.
